Body communection
Welcome to Timeless Space's 'Body communection' experience, a transformative practice that dives into the depth of your bodily sensations, that are forming the mouthpiece of your subconscious mind, the place where real healing can happen.
'Body communection' is the term Chris gave to a technique that is originally called Focusing, developed by psychotherapist Eugene Gendlin. Given this latter word's diverse usage across various contexts, Chris believes it doesn't fully capture the technique's significant potential.
Using this powerful practice, facilitator Chris will help you listen to your body and allow it to guide you in finding peace with any emotional baggage you may be carrying.
Let your subconscious mind communicate with your conscious mind by deliberately connecting with the felt sense in your body. It will bring you exactly where you need to go in order to release tensions and traumas.

What is 'body communection' or focusing?
Focusing is a psychotherapeutic technique, introduced in the 1960s, categorized under experiential and humanistic psychotherapy, with an emphasis on the importance of bodily awareness in the therapeutic process. A core idea in focusing is the "felt sense," which refers to a pre-verbal, bodily awareness of a situation, issue, or concern. This felt sense is often vague and hard to describe initially but holds significant meaning. The focusing process involves bringing attention to this felt sense and staying with it in a non-judgmental way, allowing it to develop and unfold. As one stays with the felt sense, new insights, words, or images often emerge, leading to a deeper understanding or resolution of the issue. The technique is used in various contexts, including psychotherapy, personal growth, and mindfulness practices. It’s a way of accessing deeper wisdom that might be obscured by habitual thinking or surface-level emotions.
About the facilitator
My name is Chris.
2020: my nomadic existence brings me into contact with the metaphysical world for the first time during a stay in India. Many life lessons later, through many different wise people, in many different places, I have gathered enough knowledge to help you help yourself.
I learned the practice of focusing—which I renamed body communection—during a twelve-day inner child healing retreat in Dahab, Egypt, from a bright-spirited woman who called herself Momo and by now has passed away—may her soul be at peace.
